New ATAP at a Glance

This page illustrates some of the changes to the Arkansas Taxpayer Access Point (ATAP) and briefly describes some of the new ATAP enhancements.

Login Page

The Login page has been redesigned.
  • You will notice the blue sidebar on the left has been removed. Features and functions that were available on the previous Login page have been rearranged on the new Login page.
  • All actions on the Login page are now accessed by clicking the Quick Links, Inquiries, Income Taxes, and More buttons.

ATAP Home Page

  • Options that were available on the ATAP Home page sidebar will now display in the I Want To section.
  • There is also a new Alerts section that allows you to see any outstanding balances, unread notices and letters, as well as stored requests.
  • Some actions within the My Profile section will now be accessed through Settings for each account (for example, Withholding Wage Tax and Sales and Use Tax).
  • The Recent Activity tab now shows items (requests, letters and notices) that need attention.

File and Pay

  • The File and Pay links next to each period have been removed. You can now file and pay using the Manage Payments and Returns function or by selecting the Period link.
  • The Settings button contains information and actions previously found within My Profile.
  • The menu button (in the upper left corner) contains general navigation and support actions.

Manage Payments and Returns Page

  • The Manage Payments and Returns page can be filtered to display a list based on your chosen parameters.
  • You can go back to a previous page by clicking on a link in the “breadcrumb trail” at the top.

Period Page

  • From the Period page, you can file or amend a return as well as make a payment.
  • You can view a detailed summary of the period balance in the Summary section.

Payment Page

  • The Payment page that contains a picture of a check has been replaced with the Payment page shown below.
  • The Payment page also allows you to save payment source for future payments.
  • Required fields are indicated by an orange triangle in the upper left of the field.
  • Action buttons (for example, Submit and Cancel) are now located in the lower right corner of each view instead of on the sidebar.

E-Correspondence

  • Electronic Correspondence (or E-Correspondence) is a new ATAP feature that allows you to receive electronic notifications instead of mailed paper correspondence.
  • Certain correspondence will continue to be sent by postal mail.
